Have you started searching frantically for steakhouse with salad buffet bar after Sizzler decided to call it quits in Singapore?
Well, worry no more. Astons is here to "save" us.
Astons Steak & Salad is located in Centrepoint Mall. As they do not take reservation, we arrived early to beat the unpredictable crowd of hungry diners. The restaurant is not specifically big but it can easily accommodates quite a big crowd.
The menu is simple and sweet, mainly focus on steak (of course!!). Food lovers who have tried Astons steak will know their quality (subjected to individual preference) so I am not going to elaborate. Done with our orders, it is time to conquer the salad bar.
If you do remember Ponderosa, the concept is almost similar. Various types of soup and finger food are spread across one of the long L-shape table while the other side served assorted salads and greens, fruits and even ice-cream.

The grilled chicken and pork chops were fabulous. They were nicely grilled and the meat tastes juicy and tender. Not so fantastic for the fried though (based on individual preference).
In conclusion, it is still value for money. The next time you are planning for a friends' gathering, family reunion, etc. check them out.
